COOLKids Triathlon

The COOLKids Triathlon introduces the sport of triathlon to young people between the ages of 5 and 14 in a safe and positive environment. While competition is always a part of any race, kids participating can make it be whatever they want – an opportunity to challenge themselves doing something they’ve never tried before or maybe improve their competitive skills with real race experience. Whatever the goal is, the COOLKids Triathlon will become an annual experience they will always remember.

Entry Fee:
$25/child (15% discount for each additional child in same family) Includes COOLKids Finishers Medal, COOLKids Swim Cap and Tri-Bottle, KOPFC Free Admission pass & more!
Day of Race Entry Fee is $35/child – no discounts on race day.

Packet Pick-up:
Thursday, June 16 starting at 5:30 PM (South Entrance pavilions)

Orientation Meeting:
We highly encourage parent(s) and participants to attend the event orientation meeting on Thursday, June 16 at 6:00 PM. If you have questions, this will be a good time to have them answered.

The swim will be held in KOPFC’s outdoor pools. The bike will go through portions of KOPFC and the adjoining neighborhood. The run will follow mostly paved paths in KOPFC’s park and enter Utah Olympic Oval indoor track with a finish out on the plaza.
