First Aid, Lost Child, & Lost and Found

Welcome to our festival!

We are committed to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all our patrons. In this section, you'll find important information about our Lost Child & First Aid services, as well as our No Child Lost (NCL) program.

First Aid

Our Lost Child & First Aid room is designed to assist both lost children and individuals requiring medical attention. It is centrally located in the building on the east side of the outdoor pools. If you have trouble finding this location, please ask any festival staff member or lifeguard for assistance.

Lost Child

We are pleased to announce the return of our No Child Lost (NCL) program. Upon entry into the festival, stop at the NCL tent where your child will receive a wristband for you to write your cell phone number on, and where you can take a photo of what your child is wearing at the festival. Should your child become lost, simply go to the Lost Child/First Aid room or contact any nearby officer, where you can show your child’s photo, and the search will begin. Hopefully, in no time at all, your child will be back safe and sound with you to continue enjoying the festival activities.

The safety and security of our patrons is our most important priority. If you are separated from your child, our volunteers and police will communicate with each other until your child is found and you are reunited.

Lost and Found

If you lose an item, head to the Front Desk. If we have it and you can describe it correctly, you can have it back! If you find an item, please take it to our Front Desk and turn it in. You’ll make someone’s day!

Safety & Security

The safety and security of our FWI patrons is the most important issue to us. The FWI Festival, the Unified Police Department, the Unified Fire Department, and KOPFC Security all participate in the safety and security of our patrons and make us the most prepared. Police officers are located throughout the festival grounds along with a command center located South East of the Olympic Oval plaza.

Our team of experts plans, reviews, and re-reviews all protocol with the authorities involved to ensure proper knowledge by everyone. The safety of our patrons is not an issue we take lightly. So put your mind at ease and come enjoy Fire Water & Ice!
