Youth Water Polo

WHO:

Open to anyone 18 & under.

WHEN:

Monday, June 3 through Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024.

PRACTICES:

Practice groups based mostly on age but also experience. Please talk to Coach Mitchell if you’re not sure which group will be best.
12 & Under – Monday/Wednesday/Friday – 8:00-9:30 AM
14 & Under – Monday/Wednesday/Friday – 8:00-9:30 AM
18 & Under – Monday/Wednesday/Friday – 9:30-11:30 AM

WHERE:

All practices will take place at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center. Athletes will meet at the Outdoor Dive Pool.

COST:

Regular price is $140. $125 for KOPFC Members (for the entire summer). All players must also be registered with USA Water Polo (at least Bronze Level Membership).

REGISTRATION:

GAMES:

Kearns Summer Invitational - June 21-23 at Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center. Possible age groups are 10U Mixed, 12U Mixed, 14U Girls & Boys, 16U Girls & Boys, and 18U Girls & Boys. All Age groups are dependent on there being a sufficient number of athletes interested. Must be Bronze Member of USA Water Polo. $35- covers team entry fee. Deadline – May 31, talk to Mitchell before signing up.

TRAVEL TRIPS:

National Junior Olympics (JO’s)

Session 1 (Bay Area, CA) – July 20-23 (14U Boys, 16U Boys, 18U Boys)

Session 2 (Bay Area, CA) – July 25-28 (12U Mixed, 14U Girls, 16U Girls, 18U Girls)
All age groups are dependent on there being a sufficient number of athletes interested.
Must be Gold Member of USA Water Polo and age verified. Cost TBD. Will cover team entry fee, coach’s travel, team gear. Additional practices included. Deadline – May 31. Space is limited – talk to Mitchell if interested.
